Sylvamo and HP Papers have partnered with Think Pink Europe to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month and support the fight against the disease with their HP Pink Ream campaign.

With its specially designed packaging, the Pink Ream initiative, which is in its sixth year, is instantly recognisable.

As well as the flagship HP Office brand being available in pink reams, so will HP Everyday paper, a lighter alternative to HP Office, which delivers quality, reliability and value as a multifunctional paper for everyday use.

As part of its support, Sylvamo donates 10 pence to UK and European programs focusing on breast cancer research, awareness and prevention for each pink ream sold, launching during the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 80% of the amount raised will go to local associations and the remaining 20% will be invested in Pan-European programmes.

To date, more than €500,000 has been raised across the UK and Europe to support various breast cancer projects through Think Pink Europe.

According to Europa Donna, The European Breast Cancer Coalition, breast cancer claims the lives of more European women than any other cancer, with an estimated 576,300 cases reported in 2020.

Thankfully, according to Sylvamo, breast cancer survival is improving and has doubled in the past 40 years due to improvements in treatment and care, earlier detection through screening and faster diagnosis.
